Gravity Die Casting – About JAI
We want to be a key supplier for leading European companies requiring complex aluminium cast parts, fully finished and with a high degree of refinement, delivered directly to their assembly line. Our solutions are developed at the forefront of what is technically possible, while considering production efficiency, cost and environmental responsibility. But delivering a technically sound component is only part of a successful supplier relationship. We believe value is also created around the component by challenging the solution early, communicating openly, adapting when requirements change and taking responsibility when challenges occur. Our goal is not only to deliver aluminium components, but to make your project and supply chain more reliable.

Maximum performance of our customers’ products

Cost-effective solutions

Contribution to our customers' ESG rating of their products
We continuously challenge ourselves and our customers to ensure that critical aluminium cast parts are optimized for technical performance, manufacturability and cost. By doing this early in the development process, we aim to identify potential issues before they become costly changes in tooling or production.

Flexibility when requirements change
Volumes, specifications and timelines can change. We work with you to understand the impact and find a practical way forward.
Problems addressed before they reach you

JAI in short
Experience and capabilities behind our promises Our approach is backed by decades of casting experience, in-house expertise, advanced production technology, documented quality systems and partnerships with demanding international customers.
- Founded in 1945 as an aluminium casting company
- Specialized in complex stationery and tilt gravity die cast components weighing approximately. 2 – 100 kg., with annual volumes ranging from approximately 1,000 to 50,000 pieces
- Based in Denmark, operating under high standards within environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas
- Approximately 200 employees
- Turnover in 2025: EUR 37 million.
- Ownership: Owned by Lazarus Industriförvaltning AB, the management, and the founding family
- All production and know-how consolidated at our 33,000 m2 facility in Herning, Denmark
- One-stop-shop partner: Development, design, prototypes, and series production of gravity die cast aluminum components – helping reduce handovers between development and series production.
- System supplier: Coordinated casting, X-ray inspection, heat treatment, machining, robotic welding, surface treatment, assembly and tightness testing. For our customers, this means fewer supplier interfaces and finished components delivered at the agreed quality and time, ready for their production line.
- More than 90% of the aluminium we use is recycled. The CO2 emission from recycled aluminium is less than 10% compared to primary/virgin aluminium
- Quality assurance: Casting simulation software, spectrometer analysis, X-ray inspection, 3D measuring machines and tightness testing using helium, air and air under water – supporting early detection of potential quality issues before components leave JAI.
- Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, SVTI, SAQ 5.0, CDP and EcoVadis
- 98% export share with customers such as: Volvo Penta, Siemens Energy, BMW Motorrad and Bosch Rexroth
- Main segments: Motorcycles, energy, marine, pumps, e-mobility, robotics, trucks, and cooling system
These capabilities are not just promises. They are continuously reflected in the supplier ratings we receive from international customers including BMW Motorrad, Volvo Penta, Siemens Energy and Bosch Rexroth.
