JAI in short
- Founded in 1945 as an aluminium casting company
- Specialized in complex stationery and tilt gravity die cast components weighing approximately. 2 – 100 kg., with annual volumes ranging from approximately 1,000 to 50,000 pieces
- Based in Denmark, operating under high standards within environmental, social and governance (ESG) areas
- Approximately 200 employees
- Turnover in 2025: EUR 37 million.
- Ownership: Owned by Lazarus Industriförvaltning AB, the management, and the founding family
- All production and know-how consolidated at our 33,000 m2 facility in Herning, Denmark
- One-stop-shop partner: Development, design, prototypes, and series production of gravity die cast aluminum components
- System supplier: Flexible production of raw castings, heat treatment, automated machining, robot welding, surface treatment and assembly
- More than 90% of the aluminium we use is recycled. The CO2 emission from recycled aluminium is less than 10% compared to primary/virgin aluminium
- Quality assurance: Casting simulation software, spectrometer analysis tool, X-ray equipment, 3-D measuring machines and leak testing (helium, air and air under water) etc.
- Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, SVTI, SAQ 5.0, CDP and EcoVadis
- 98% export share with customers such as: Volvo Penta, Siemens Energy, BMW Motorrad and Bosch Rexroth
