When should you choose JAI as your aluminium partner?
Choosing the right aluminium partner depends on more than casting capability. It is also about reducing project risk, simplifying your supply chain and having a partner that can support your component from development to series production. JAI is typically the right choice in the following situations:
When you need a one-stop supplier
From prototype to series production – with one partner coordinating the process, reducing handovers and giving you one clear point of responsibility.
When your project involves complex aluminium components
We support projects with high technical requirements and complex geometries. By combining development and production experience early in the project, potential manufacturing challenges can be identified before series production.
When you want to reduce suppliers and streamline production
Combine casting, machining, testing, assembly and logistics in one coordinated setup. Fewer interfaces mean less supplier coordination for your organization and a simpler supply chain.
When quality, documentation and process control are critical
We focus on consistency, traceability and process control throughout production– helping identify deviations before they become a problem on your production line.
WHAT AFFECTS YOUR SOLUTION?
What affects your aluminium solution?
Every project is unique. Several factors influence the best approach, technical setup and overall solution for your aluminium component.
Component complexity
Design intricacy, wall thickness, geometries and structural requirements.
Volume
From prototypes and low volumes to large-scale series production.
Material selection
Choice of aluminium alloy based on strength, weight, corrosion resistance and application.
Surface treatment
Anodizing, painting or other coatings to meet functional and visual requirements.
Tolerances
Dimensional accuracy, fit and performance requirements.
Our experience - your advantage
We help you find the right balance between performance, quality and cost. By considering component complexity, material, tolerances, production requirements and expected volumes early in the project, we can challenge the solution before major investments are made. The goal is to identify potential production, quality and cost risks as early as possible – helping you move towards a solution that is technically sound, production-ready and commercially viable.

Our Core Competences in Aluminium Casting Services
Complex tilt or stationary gravity die casting as part of our aluminium casting services. We also offer machining, X-ray control, surface treatment and assembly.
- Aluminum components ranging from approximately 2 to 125 kg.
- Sand cores up to 150 kg.
- Casting with up to 12 sand cores, assembled into one complex sand core.
- Component dimensions up to 1.4 x 1.4 x 1.4 m.
One-Stop-Shop Partner
- Development, design, prototypes and series production of complex aluminium gravity die-cast components. This allows knowledge gained during development to stay with the project as it moves towards series production.
System Supplier
- Completely finished aluminium parts including X-ray, heat treatment, machining, robotic welding, surface treatment, assembly, tightness test and comprehensive logistics services. The result is fewer supplier interfaces and one coordinated delivery of your finished component.
Annual Requirements
- From about 750 to 50,000 units.
Alloys
- AlSi7Mg EN AC-42100
- AlSi10Mg EN AC-43000
- AlSi12 EN AC-44100
What this means for your project
If your component fits within our production range, JAI can support the journey from early development to a finished and tested component. Our combination of casting, machining, heat treatment, quality control, testing and assembly enables you to consolidate several production steps through one supplier – reducing complexity while keeping responsibility clear.

Why choose aluminium?
Aluminium offers unique advantages for industrial production, making it ideal material for a variety of applications. Here are some key benefits:
Efficient energy utilization
Aluminium is lightweight, making it ideal for applications where weight reduction is essential, such as automotive, aerospace, and transportation industries. Its low density allows for improved fuel efficiency and increased payload capacity.
Strength-to-weight ratio
Despite its lightweight nature, aluminium boasts impressive strength-to-weight ratio, providing structural integrity and durability. This makes it suitable for demanding applications where strength and reliability are paramount.
Corrosion resistance
Aluminium naturally forms a protective oxide layer, which enhances its resistance to corrosion. This property makes it an excellent choice for outdoor and marine applications, as well as in harsh environments where exposure to moisture and chemicals is prevalent.
Malleability and formability
Aluminium is highly malleable and formable, allowing for easy shaping and fabrication into complex shapes and designs. This versatility makes it a preferred material for various manufacturing processes, including casting, extrusion, and machining.
Aesthetics
Aluminium offers aesthetic appeal with its sleek and modern appearance. It can be easily finished through anodizing, painting, or powder coating to enhance its visual appeal and provide additional protection against wear and corrosion.
Recyclability
Aluminum is recyclable without losing its properties, making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious industries. Recycled aluminum requires significantly less energy compared to production of primary (virgin) aluminium, resulting in reduced CO2 and energy consumption.
